Tony Wright presents the Real Radio Breakfast Show (105 – 106FM) where he broadcasts across Wales with his co-host Angela Jay. Tony has been presenting on radio for the past 20 years, with 10 of those years spent presenting the Capital Gold Breakfast Show. Tony’s radio work has taken him all over the world and he has presented shows live from the USA and Europe.

Tony has received many awards for his work as a radio presenter, including titles such as: Welsh Radio Presenter of the Year, Gold and Silver also the title of Personality of the Year, and Best Radio Presenter of the Year. Tony is proudly responsible for the increase of listeners of Real Radio’s Breakfast Show since 2006, tipping the scale at 375,000 throughout the programme. He has also received the high accolade of MBE from Her Majesty The Queen for his services to charity.

In addition to his radio work, Tony is a trained actor with both TV and theatre credits to his name. He has done many voice-overs and has appeared as a support act at Cardiff's St. David's Hall. Tony has also appeared regularly in Cardiff’s pantomime and will this year be starring as Widow Twankey at the Grand Pavillion Theatre, Porthcawl in their production of 'Aladdin'.

Tony has also worked as MC/presenter/host at many award ceremonies: he has an exceptional talent at charity auctions having doubled, even trebled charities financial expectations! Tony is himself an active fundraiser for various local charities and has recently become the Patron of animal sanctuary All Creatures Great & Small, based in Llanfrechfa, Cwmbran. It is fair to say that Tony’s work as radio presenter allows him to talk about pretty much anything he wants to on his show, thus giving additional support to any charities that he may be working with.
